What Started it All



I was up late at night with my both once and we just started talking about random things. Until he brought up the fact that I had a lot of stuff animals, which is true I have a LOT of them. I told that I liked have all of them, so much so I even gave them all their own names and backstories. As we continued talking about all the crazy lore I made up about my stuffed animals, I found it to be really fun. It came so easy to me. I didn't have to much thought into it.



The next day I was really bored l, like really bored. So I searched some stuff on tiktok. As one does, and I saw this video where it said "If you're bored you should try to write a book." And well obviously I did. Writing truly did come very natural to me. Like I said before I didn't have to try all the hard. Plus, it was really fun for me. Then of course it does make me feel a little great full towards my older brother for he help me find this new passion. So to him I say thank you.



Background



Imagine a far off land set in the early 1800s similar to how America is, but just a little different. This place is called, Utcha Island. It's home to the ʔOowin Natives, and after 1607 it also become the home for the English men that had been on the Reckmond Line and it's following ships. Before the two parties lived in peace together they were at war because when the English men's ship docked it lead into Utcha's first Invasion. After everything was said and done however both sides agreed to share the land. They did this by building a Wall of Separation that they named " The Final Defense ". That wall took 86 years to build, but neither of them tried to attack each other. That's how Utcha Island became two parts. "New Frontier" was to ʔOowin Natives and the English men called their home "The Clanstock Republic".



Description



Genluk Dreamweaver is a ʔOowin Native, he has an older brother named Bayou. They don't know who their parents are, but they do have a mother fuguer named Salley. The two brothers themselves were very much alike, both laid-back, get along with people easily, and pretty out going. Their main difference however is Bayou doesn't get close to people like how Genluk does. It's actually the whole reason Genluk met his closest friend Lucota. Even his "easy come, easy go" personality he has, made him meet another good friend of his. That friend names was Augustin Sealander. And the two of them become very good friends. But did their friendship come at a bad time? In 1824 Utcha Island underwent their second Invasion, though this time Genluk Dreamweaver was going to be fighting in it. Can he handle the pressure from mental and physical pain? Can he still trust the ones he did before the invasion started? Will he still be himself after the war? Or will he crumble? Is the battle field to much to handle for him? Or maybe he'll fold under pressure from a preson who isn't even on the battlefield?
